Join NYCB Principal Dancer and world-renowned educator Daniel Ulbricht, alongside Magnus, photographer at MAGNUS PHOTOGRAPHY, on November 08, for an exclusive photoshoot experience designed to capture your very best as a dancer.
PROJECTING POTENTIAL is more than a photoshoot — it's like a private coaching lesson designed to reveal not just your technique, but your artistry — the individuality, emotion, and promise that set you apart.
Daniel will personally choreograph and place you into poses — ensuring that every position, line, and moment reflects your individuality. Together, Daniel and Magnus will create perfect and dynamic choreography photos that will make you stand out.
🩰 AUDITION ESSENTIALS — $355.00
A dedicated coaching and studio session with Daniel and Magnus.
This session includes:
•25 minutes of dedicated coaching and studio time with Daniel and Magnus.
•Up to 8 poses chosen from our Audition Pose menu [1] or Daniel will create Open Choreography Poses specifically for you.
•Digital Delivery in a Private Online Gallery of your retouched photo session with up to 8 poses. [2]
•Outfit changes — 1 leotard (no changeovers) and any number of skirts or tutus. (*as time allows)
•Pointe Shoes — Pointe Shoe changeover is part of your session.
•25 minutes of dedicated coaching and studio time with Daniel and Magnus.
•Up to 8 poses chosen from our Audition Pose menu [1] or Daniel will create Open Choreography Poses specifically for you.
•Digital Delivery in a Private Online Gallery of your retouched photo session with up to 8 poses. [2]
•Outfit changes — 1 leotard (no changeovers) and any number of skirts or tutus. (*as time allows)
•Pointe Shoes — Pointe Shoe changeover is part of your session.
Daniel will select, coach, and refine each one for your poses for technical precision and photographicimpact.

•Digital Delivery in a Private Online Gallery of your retouched photo session with up to 15 poses. [2]
•Outfit changes — 2 leotards (1x changeover) and any number of skirts or tutus. (*as time allows)
•Pointe Shoes — Pointe Shoe changeover is part of your session.
•45 minutes of dedicated coaching and studio time with Daniel and Magnus.
•Up to 14 poses chosen from our Audition Pose menu [1] or Daniel will create Open Choreography Poses specifically for you.

🩰 OPEN CHOREOGRAPHY - THE HEART OF PROJECTING POTENTIAL
This is the exciting and expressive part — where artistry takes center stage!
In this section, Daniel will choreograph custom poses and sequences tailored to your strengths and level, capturing the freedom, joy and expressiveness of your movement.
Expect jumps, turns, and stunning lines, that will highlight your energy, confidence, and stage presence.
This is your chance to let go, move, and truly project your potential.
🎒 WHAT TO PREPARE & BRING
FOR YOUR AUDITION PHOTOS
•Leotard: Plain solid-color leotard (no lace, skirts, or multiple straps — darker tones photograph best)
•Tights: Pink or skin-tone (bring a spare pair!)
•Shoes: Clean ballet flats and clean, broken-in* pointe shoes
•Hair: Neat, tight bun — no ribbons, scrunchies, or clips.

• Skirt: Feel free to bring a tulle skirt, or romantic/platter tutu, or free flowing fabric — be creative.
• Hair: Can stay up or be styled down for variety.
• Accessories, ribbons and creative pieces are welcome — let your artistry shine!
